Webhooks

You can create your own webhooks to meet your needs with our GraphQL API

Webhooks are useful in many ways and we recognize the importance of giving you the liberty to easy set them up through our GraphQL API.

In this example we show you a basic set up which will feed you all data coming in from your different devices.

Before you set this up you need to create your endpoint, or to test this quickly you could go here to get your endpoint.

Then you go ahead and do this mutation:

mutation {
webhook {
create(
input: {
name: "TestD4"
endpoint: "https://webhook.yourURLforEndPointWebhook"
eventType: CREATE
entityType: ALL
requestType: POST
}
) {
name
endpoint
}
}
}

..and then you are all done.

The endpoint will get these kinds of packages containing data from your signals as you get more data into your system

{
"signal": {
"mac": "AB:CD:EF:GH:IJ:55",
"timestamp": "2021-02-11T15:25:00.000000000+0000",
"data": {
"numericValue": 34,
"rawValue": "34"
},
"type": "Temperature",
"unit": "ºF",
"createdAt": "2021-03-11T14:38:47.538000000+0000",
"updatedAt": "2021-03-11T14:38:47.539000000+0000",
"id": "604a2b77e9c5ac5044e7b893"
}
}
